All orders are subject to availability and acceptance.
Once an order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation via email. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including product availability, pricing errors or suspected fraudulent activity.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices displayed on our website are in GBP (£).
Payment must be received in full before orders are dispatched. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.
4. Product Information
As all of our products are handcrafted, slight variations in colour, appearance, glitter placement and finish may occur. These variations do not affect product quality and are not considered faults.
We make every effort to accurately display product colours and descriptions; however, colours may vary depending on screen settings and device displays.
5. Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on our website.
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays, adverse weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control.
SelinesCandlesco cannot be held responsible for delays once an order has been handed to the delivery service.
6. Returns and Refunds
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the issue.
For hygiene and safety reasons, used candles, wax melts and home fragrance products cannot be returned unless faulty.
If a return is approved, items must be returned unused, unopened and in their original packaging within 14 days of receipt.
Refunds will be processed once the returned items have been inspected and approved.
7. Cancellations
Customers may request to cancel an order before it has been dispatched.
Once an order has been shipped, cancellations may not be possible and our standard returns policy will apply.
8. Product Safety
Our candles and wax melts are intended for use by adults only.
Customers must follow all safety instructions provided with the products.
Candle Safety:
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep away from children and pets.
- Keep away from flammable materials.
- Place candles on a heat-resistant surface.
- Do not burn candles for longer than the recommended time.
Wax Melt Safety:
- Use only in suitable wax warmers.
- Do not add water.
- Do not leave burners unattended while in use.
- Keep away from children and pets.
- Allow wax to cool before handling.
Failure to follow safety instructions may result in injury or damage, for which SelinesCandlesco accepts no liability.
9. Allergies and Sensitivities
Our products contain fragrance oils and other ingredients that may cause sensitivities in some individuals.
Customers are responsible for checking product information and ensuring suitability before purchase.
If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SelinesCandlesco shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our products.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion would be unlawful under UK law.
